Privacy Policy
Welcome to BoosterVybz. This platform is designed for parents, volunteers, program directors, and organizers of school, sports, youth, church, dance, and community programs. Please read this privacy policy carefully.
1. Target Audience & Data Collection
We collect personal information necessary to facilitate program operations. This includes names, email addresses, and program affiliations provided by parents, volunteers, directors, and organizers to coordinate events, volunteers, communication, and related services.
When a program is set up with an EIN, we also collect the organization’s EIN and the legal name, city, state, and nonprofit classification that appear in public IRS records. We look the EIN up through ProPublica’s Nonprofit Explorer, a public database of IRS data, and store the result with the program.
To pay out funds, programs connect a Stripe account. Stripe collects and verifies the organization’s bank account and officer identity details under Stripe’s own privacy policy; we receive and store only the status of that account (for example, whether details are submitted and payouts are enabled) and any restriction reason Stripe reports.
When a local business sponsors a program, we collect its email address, business name, ad artwork, and payment through Stripe. We email the sponsor a PDF receipt that includes the program’s name and EIN.
Live event broadcasts are delivered in real time through a third-party video infrastructure provider to the audience the program chooses.
2. Notice Regarding Children
BoosterVybz is an Adult-Centric Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately, and we will delete the data from our systems.
3. Data Use for Operations
We use your data exclusively to:
- Notify members of schedule changes and program updates.
- Allow directors and organizers to manage volunteer rosters, events, and program content.
- Provide access to shops, tickets, fundraising, carpool, chat, and other features you choose to use.
- Process subscriptions and in-app payments through Stripe.
4. Security of Program Data
We recognize the importance of community privacy. We implement industry-standard encryption to protect the contact information of our parent, volunteer, and organizer networks.
