Terms of Service
Welcome to BoosterVybz. This platform is designed for parents, volunteers, program directors, and organizers of school, sports, youth, church, dance, and community programs. Please read this terms of service carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using BoosterVybz, you agree to these terms. This service is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and volunteers), authorized program directors representing school-affiliated organizations, and organizers of self-serve community programs.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or register as a volunteer on this platform. Users under 18 are not permitted to use the administrative or volunteer claiming features of this application.
3. Program Coordination & Conduct
As a volunteer or parent, you agree to provide accurate information when claiming slots or making purchases. Directors and organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event schedules, shop links, tickets, fundraising campaigns, and other content published to their program community.
4. Shops, Payments & Subscriptions
BoosterVybz may link to external shops (for example Square or Shopify). Purchases on those storefronts, including refunds and support, are handled by the linked merchant.
BoosterVybz also offers in-app payments through Stripe for event tickets, marketplace listings, fundraising donations, sponsor ads, and subscriptions (including Organizer plans, extra programs, personal leagues, and optional chat, banner, or live-streaming add-ons). Those charges are processed by Stripe. Program payouts for tickets, store, fundraising, and sponsors are made to the organization via Stripe Connect where that program is connected.
School programs have no software subscription. BoosterVybz charges a 1% platform fee on event ticket, in-app store, and fundraising payments, in addition to Stripe’s processing fees. Schools set up with an EIN must finish Stripe onboarding before banners and sponsor invitations are available.
5. School programs and organizers
A school program can be opened by an authorized officer of a booster club or school nonprofit who enters its EIN, which we check against public IRS data; if we cannot confirm the EIN, BoosterVybz Support may set up the program by hand. Self-serve organizers subscribe in the app. Complimentary or staff-managed access may be granted at our discretion.
6. Sponsorships and receipts
A sponsorship is paid to BoosterVybz through Stripe and is held until the program’s director approves the ad. If the ad is approved, the card is charged, the ad is published, and half of the payment is transferred to the program’s connected Stripe account. The other half is a platform and ad services fee that covers hosting, processing, and the banner advertisement the sponsor receives. If the ad is rejected, the hold is released.
For programs with a verified EIN, the sponsor is emailed a PDF receipt that shows the program’s legal name and EIN, the direct contribution, the platform and ad services fee, and the total. Only the direct contribution to the program is a charitable contribution; the platform and ad services fee is payment for services. BoosterVybz does not provide tax advice. Sponsors should consult a tax advisor about deductibility. Programs are responsible for the accuracy of the EIN and nonprofit status they provide.
